Most pastors sense it, even if they rarely say it out loud. After years of faithful ministry, our churches are still full of believers who struggle to grow into the maturity that Scripture demands. The challenge of church change is not the Gospel, the Holy Spirit, or the dedication of pastors; rather, it often lies in the effectiveness of our discipleship methods.
After over 50 years of ministry, the Author recognized that existing church methods can never effectively produce the kind of disciples Jesus commanded us to make. This book is aimed at pastors and Christian leaders who care deeply about the Church and are willing to confront the hard questions: What needs to change in our discipleship methods, and how can we implement those church changes?
God desires to cultivate a mature body of believers through effective Christian leadership. Achieving this will necessitate a genuine church change in our discipleship methods to enhance training and equipping.

Mark will soon celebrate 50 years in Gospel Ministry, demonstrating his commitment to Christian leadership. He has served as a pastor in four churches across the United States and is the founder of Mark Swiger Ministries, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to effective church change and implementing impactful discipleship methods. Over the years, he has preached to millions face to face on five continents, hosted the television program 'Healing for You Today,' and authored several books. Mark currently resides in Tennessee with his wife, Paulette. Together, they are proud parents of three grown children and several grandchildren. Both Mark and Dr. Paulette, who leads the ministry 'Hope for Healing,' are ordained ministers with the Assemblies of God serving in the Tennessee District.

After serving as a pastor, teacher, full-time evangelist, and conference speaker, Mark's ministry has shifted focus to Christian leadership training for pastors and leaders. He feels called to specifically equip leaders on the essential subject of 'How to Lead People to Full Maturity.' This training is being implemented through online video and written materials, in-person seminars, and private consulting services, emphasizing effective discipleship methods that facilitate church change.

Mark is a graduate of Pinecrest Bible Training Center, holding a Bachelor's degree in Pastoral Studies from Calvary Christian International. His exceptional contributions to Christian leadership and evangelism have earned him an Honorary Doctorate from Summit Bible College. As an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, he actively promotes effective discipleship methods to inspire church change.
